Chennai: When city streets will be clear from traffic during the night of the night and locking on Sunday, the corporation has planned to track fast roads and improve work during this period.
The Civic body carries out a 213 crore road relay project at 1,656 roads (312km long) throughout the city; 59 Roads The bus route is being repaired under Singara Chennai 2.0; 22 Roads are being repaired under the Turip scheme.
In addition, 622 road interiors and 307 concrete roads were being repaired under Singara Chennai, while the 646 interior road was repaired with disaster relief funds.

The corporation has told the deputy commissioner (works) and regional deputy commissioners to monitor works at night for every deviation.
Officials said when the MK Stalin chairman minister examined the Ripon Building control room during the rain December last year, he instructed the Civic’s body to track the fast road and senior IAS official to monitor the quality of the road.
The commissioner himself examined one road as it was at Anna Nagar on Thursday midnight.
Officials said their goal was to complete the re-recording road at the end of January.
