Chennai: The pile of nausea waste right outside the popular corporate garden along the road rays on Mogappair East is stains on the picture.
People who pass and those who live in the area have failed to hand over the garbage to the waste collector from the door to the door in the morning and throw the same outside the park on their will.
Vegetable mounds and rotten fruit waste, thermal and cardboard boxes and even used furniture lifting odors.
On average a thousand people often visit this park every day and jogging say they can’t breathe.
The mound of garbage pulls the cow and buffalo to this park causes fear among visitors.
R Raman of Panner Nagar Welfare Association at Mogappair East said there were several trash cans in the neighborhood.
“On the streets like EB Office Road, it is a corporate staff who dispose of garbage and garbage still rot.
But here (outside the park), it is a locals and people who pass,” he said.
Yoga and dance podiums in the park are used by children every day while the 400 meter running path is used by adults to run and walk.
There are also swings, sports equipment and slides among other facilities.
Alumnur Zone Corporation officials say the Door-to-Door collection is happening every day and people must at least save garbage in the doorway so that the staff can collect it.
“We will work with the police and establish a CCTV camera for supervision,” said an official zon.
