Chennai: Kepositu Level of Daily Test Chennai (TPR) for Covid-19 has dropped below 1%, according to the data released by Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) on Thursday.
TPR shows the spread of infection and the number of positive cases for every 100 people tested.
TPR on June 29 and 30 were 0.95 and 0.93 respectively.
Daily testing remains consistent at 27,000-28,000.
This was for the first time since last August that the TPR Daily Chennai fell below 1%.
GCC began issuing testing figures in August last year.
