Chennai: DMK on Tuesday released a list of 11 candidates in a commotion for wards in the Paladur Zone of Chennai Corporation.
The party tends to release a list of candidates for wards in another zone on Wednesday.
It also released a list of candidates in the local body such as Tambaram Corporation, Mangadu Municipality, Maraimaagar, Kundrathur, Thiruporur and Chengalpettu.
According to the source of the party, the DMK seeks to establish a new candidate for this election.
Many former party council members are the winners twice.
However, this time, we want to give a chance to new candidates.
In Chennai, especially, new faces will be nominated, the DMK spokesman said.
AIADMK is also likely to release a list of candidates for the Chennai Corporation Wards on Wednesday.
However, the party released the list for other districts such as Cuddalore and Villupuram.
NTK has released a list of candidates for Chennai Corporation, Tanjavur Corporation, Thirunelveli, Tirupur, Tiruchi and other districts.
Prospective most parties will submit their nomination on Wednesday after each final list is announced.
The last date to submit them is 4.
February on February 1, the Civic body has received 108 nominations.
