Chennai: Four cows and one buffalo died after being shocked when they stepped in a puddle of water near EB Polein Medavakkam on Thursday.
The fire officer said the living wire had snapped and fell into the water a few minutes before the accident.
The spectators saved the pastor, Adi Kesavan, a resident of Medavakkam, and warned the police and firefighting personnel.
