CHENNAI: weekly following the entire body of a female patient who had been lacking from your corona ward of the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for 15 times had been discovered in the hospital, a girl hospital contract employee has been arrested for murder Tuesday.

The stolen cellphone of M Sunitha, 41, a resident of Kadaperi at West Tambaram, was retrieved in Rathi Devi, 40, a resident of Thiruvottiyur.
Police zeroed in on the defendant after several patients and staff told authorities which Rathi Devi was seen shooting Sunitha to a wheelchair out of ward number 268 around the next floor of Tower-III of their GH.
“Rathi Devi maintained she chose Sunitha into the scanning device and subsequently dropped her in the ward May 23 nighttime,” authorities said.
She had told authorities she hunted for the missing girl as well as other employees on May 24.
Woman was murdered for cash, phoneFurther questioning showed that Rathi Devi, a priest, who lived together with her 22-year-old son, and a woman, a laboratory technician, killed Sunitha because she had been seriously in need of cash.
Devi told authorities she detected Sunitha had Rs 500 notes inside her purse and chose it to slip it.
She took Sunitha to a wheelchair under the pretext of carrying her into the scanning center.
She used a crisis elevator and took Sunitha into the floor where she donned her and dumped the body into a space near the stairs.
She subsequently left with all the stolen money and telephone.
Sunitha’s husband Mouli is currently a professor in a private engineering school at Andhra Pradesh.
Sunitha, a homemaker, was declared to the GH once she tested positive for Covid-19 on May 23.
Mouli, who moved into the hospital May 24 for providing food to his spouse, discovered her lost.
After lodging a oral complaint using the GH Outpost police station on May 24, he registered a formal complaint regarding his spouse on May 31 After a couple of days, housekeeping team of this hospital complained to authorities about bad odor emanating from the EB area on the bare floor.
Even the cops recovered the body of this girl who was afterwards verified by Mouli because of his lost wife.
