Chennai: The gang of three members including a lawyer was arrested for selling marijuana from a rental house in Thirumullaivoyal on Wednesday.
Arrest has been identified by Saravana Kumar, 46, a lawyer in Vellore, Daniel, 21, from Thayur, and Guna, 27, a woman from Perumbakkam.
RAID is done on a tip on Pattipulam.
The police said Saravana Kumar and to decide to sell marijuana to get money fast.
They rented a house for a month for the purpose of which the police confiscated 2.5kg of marijuana from them.
The search was launched for Bhakiaj from Madhavaram and Deenadayalan from Ibathur.
The police said that they had brought marijuana from AP.
