CHENNAI: The city police arrested a man on charges of murder following his buddy that was stabbed in a drunken brawl on 40, expired at Madhavaram in Wednesday.
Authorities said Manikandan, 25, didn’t reunite 40 he’d borrowed from his buddy Nagamuthu, 26, of Udayar Thottam.
They have been consuming spirits from Wednesday afternoon alongwith several buddies and afterwards in the night a debate broke out on the borrowed cash.
Authorities said the debate soon become a struggle when Nagamuthu pulled a knife out of butcher’s store and assaulted Manikandan, who expired on the area.
