Chennai: Police CMBT detained a man with two instinct sensations in Wee Saturday, but the question revealed that the man was the assistant director who worked in the film.
The weapon was found as a doll, intended to be used in the coming Suriya actor film directed by Pandiraj.
Special Sub-Inspector Palani and the team intercepted a two-wheeled vehicle on the road 100 feet near Koyambedu and the search led to confiscation of two instincts.
Even though the man claimed that the rifle was dummy to use in the film, he was taken to the police station to be interrogated.
The man was identified as the winner, 27, a screamer, who told police he worked as an assistant director of Pandiraj from Pasaa and the kidikiki Singam Fame.
He also told the police that he took a rifle to CMBT to send them to Karaikudi to shoot.
However, because there were no right documents to bring Dummy rifles, he was detained at the police station for further investigation.
