Chennai Metro left commuter at both ends

Chennai: Unlimited trips considered between Metro train services and suburban train networks are lost where it is.
Needed the most.
At two ends of the Wimbo Nagar-Chennai Metro Metro Rail line, the passengers were forced to walk far to access each suburban train station including in Tirusulam.
At Wimco Nagar in the north, Metro commuter had to walk through a gloomy, dense and narrow route to reach the suburban station.
Facilities, which came under the Chennai division of the South Railroad, did not even have feet (FOB).
With a booking office for train tickets located in one corner, passengers proceed to the Moore Market complex must enter without permission Track train twice to enter the platform.
At the other end, commuters must jump and jump from several facilities from Metro Airport and Cross Busy GST Road to reach the Tirusulam train station.
Two metro stations only 300m-350m from each train station.
A sky bridge in two places can facilitate seamless exchanges between two types of railroad transportation, feeling commuter.
The lack of such an intersection is very striking when someone considers the time taken.
A metro train takes 21 minutes from Wimco Nagar to Central, while the suburban train covers the same distance in 32 minutes to 45 minutes.
31km from Wimco Nagar to the airport only needed 52 minutes by metro train.
Chromepet Resident A Mani Wonders Why Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) does not consider Skybridge at the stations of the cessation despite investing thousands of crores rupees to build a metro network.

“Now, it’s not all safe,” he added.
Advaits Jani, senior manager (sustainable city and transportation) with WRI India said passengers need smooth and direct integration between metro stations and suburbs.
“There must be a minimum change to increase the level of comfort and safety,” he said.
Responding to the Toi questionnaire, CMRL officials said the Sky-Bridge link at the airport station was not feasible because the adjacent flyover.
At Wimco Nagar, the subway is available for passengers to cross between suburban stations and road stations to achieve metro facilities and plans to renovate and increase the subway, he added.
