Chennai might get intense rain starting next week

Chennai: 8.6mm rain recorded at the Meenambakkam weather station on Friday may be the beginning of the round of another bath when a meteorologist has a storm estimate with light rain for the next two days.
Bloggers say the intensity and frequency of rain can increase after September 20 and many parts of the country, including coastal areas such as Chennai and neighboring districts, tend to accept good spells.
During the next 48 hours, IMD has predicted a storm with light rain above several regions in the city and the environment, while the condition of the sky tends to be very cloudy.
Maximum and minimum temperatures tend to be around 36 ° C and 26 ° C.
While some places in the South Tamil district and Delta are expected to accept storms with rain with varying intensity between 19 and 21 September, IMD has predicted a storm with heavy rain above Tamil Nadu North like Tiruvannnamalai, Vellore, Ranipet and Tiruvallur in September.
22.
“This is caused by weak Westerlies which will allow the entry of easterlies that can cause wind convergence and convective spells,” said a meteorologist.
Since June 1, Nungambakkam has recorded 503.4mm rain and meenambakkam 436.9mm, which is excessive 118.1mm and 13.5mm.
Chennai’s subdivision has recorded 431mm so far in the June-September season against normal 397.4mm, excess 8%.
Blogger Pradeep John said there was a possibility of rain in the city and neighboring districts and interior districts for the last 10 days of September due to a favorable wind condition.
“In Chennai, the day temperatures may be around 34 ° C or 35 ° C but the humidity is relatively high.
There are opportunities for rain almost every day at night or late at night if the convergence shifts from the country’s interior,” he said.
