Chennai Might Have a hot Hay, rainy dusk on Sunday

CHENNAI: Following a day, several areas of the town and its suburbs obtained rain and strong wind on Saturday.
Showers are very likely to continue Sunday since IMD has prediction convective rain for 24 hours.
A prediction by IMD for the town stated,”The heavens condition is very likely to be partially cloudy.
Light rain is very likely to happen in some places.” But a muddy skies and rain won’t bring the temperature down.
The IMD prediction states the most temperature is going to probably be 37°C and minimal temperature 28°C.
The hot afternoon is very likely to activate rain in the day.
On Saturday, Nungambakkam listed 16mm rain and Madhavaram listed 2mm rain.
Additionally, it rained for a short time in Aminjikarai, Anna Nagar, Virugambakkam, Perambur, Nanganallur along with some different areas in the day.
Live weather monitoring websites revealed clouds across northern and southern areas however, the sky was clear across the coastal and central regions of the town during the night.
Personal weather bloggers stated in their articles there was a chance of early morning rain Sunday however, it might not last on Monday.
A Met department said the rain Saturday was because of convective activity, in which heating of the property causes warm air to grow upward, bright and condense, frequently triggering rain.
“The daylight temperature on Saturday was approximately 38°C.
This led to the property to warm up and induce convective activity.
There’s a chance of rain in the night or evening on Sunday because of convection,” he further added.
The effect of southwest monsoon can lead to rain from the Nilgiris, Coimbatore and also ghat regions in the forthcoming days.
On Saturday, Valparai listed 7mm rain.
