Chennai: Chennai – Mysore – Chennai Shatabdi Express has received an integrated management system certification (IMS) for maintenance and better use of environmentally friendly resources and to offer comfort trips.
The train that uses Linke Hofmann Busch Rakes has received ISO certification.
Features that obtain certification include the removal of diesel-managed power car trainers, biodigester toilets, maintaining 100% of passenger facilities in working conditions, above household facilities with five-stage cleaning, energy conservation through LED lights and electrical fittings, pre – Wi-Fi infotainment system, automatic sliding doors closer to passenger coupes in executive coaches, indications of reflective coaches and toilet residential indicators, aesthetic vinyl wrappers for interior trainers, automatic air freshener for passenger coupes and toilets, comfortable seats with high quality seats, Fire extinguishers, integrated information stickers in all coaches with emergency contact numbers.
General Train Manager John Thomas presented the IMS certificate to the Basin Bridge Depot responsible for the maintenance of the train.
He checked the train and raised the team of officers and staff depots.
He presented the award and provided certification to officers and staff to maintain train services well according to the standards set to obtain IMS certification.
