Chennai: a justice judge in Chengelpet has imposed a fine of 1.2 lakh in the management of cooking oil manufacturing companies in Vengavaal on the outskirts of Chennai after a worker had an accident due to unsafe work practices in the building.
The worker lost one of his fingers in the accident after officials from the Industrial Security Department and the health of inspections in the area.
According to prosecution, personnel from the Department of Security and Health Industry, Kancheepuram district examined the oil manufacturing unit on March 18, 2020 after an industrial accident there on March 15.

Because of the accident, three fingers must be amputated, prosecution was delivered and stated that the factory management had flipped through part of the Tamil Nadu factory law.
While the management initially denied they had crossed safety norms, they finally agreed on charges after that Judge Judicial imposed a fine of 1.2 lakh in management.
Of the good amount, 70,000 is directed to be given as compensation for injured workers.
