Chennai: RK Nagar police have changed the suspicious death case of a Tasmac worker into a murder case and arrested a suspect.
Babu from Kerala who had worked at the bar on Jalan Uh for about two months was found dead on Saturday morning with bleeding wounds in the room where the bar workers would stay.
The police registered a case and launched the search for Balaji who lived with a Babu night before he was found dead.
A postmortem report revealed that many bones in Babu ribs were cracked.
The police secured Balaji from Avadi on Monday and released it in court custody.
The police said that Balaji approached the Ravi Bar owner for work and was made to live with Babu only for a day.
The reason behind the murder was not confirmed.
