Chennai: The Cyber-Crime of Police wing on Tuesday ordered Madhan ‘pubg’, was arrested because of the rough content on the YouTube channel, under the Law Goondas.
Madhan, who was picked up from a relative home in Dharmapuri on June 18 and the application for guarantees was dismissed three times, served orders in a central prison in Puzhal.
Orders allow the authorities to keep Madhan in prison for at least one year.
He can appeal against detention within three months after being served.
The wife of Madhan Kiruthika, who was also arrested in this case and who was released from prison with a guarantee last week, visited the Commissioner’s office on Tuesday and filed a complaint against those who spread evil information on her husband and themselves.

Police on June 16 registered a case against Madhan and his wife under the IPC section, information technology law and indecent representation of the ban on women, 1986, based on complaints from residents of Vadadaani.
