Chennai: Four arrivals and four departures have been canceled at Chennai airport on Wednesday because of bad weather.
Flights were canceled due to bad weather conditions anticipated on Wednesday night and at night.
Indigo Airlines flights to Madurai, Mumbai, Mumbai and Trichy at 7:55 pm and Arabic air flights to Sharjah at 9:35 a.m.
afternoon have been canceled.
Indigo Airlines flights from Madurai at 19:30, Trichy at 10:30 a.m., Mumbai at 1:00 a.m.
(on November 11) and Arabic air flights from Sharjah have been canceled.
Domestic flights, operated using smaller aircraft (ATR-72), canceled as precautions because strong winds are expected at night.
“Airlines make decisions based on weather forecast to prevent discomfort for passengers.
Domestic flights canceled are smaller aircraft that might have difficulty landing in a windy condition,” said an AAI official.
Because low pressure has developed into a low pressure area which is well marked and approached the beach, strong winds are likely.
