Chennai: The larger Traffic Police Chennai has closed six subways due to the water.
Eight subways are: Evr Saai / Gangu Reddy Subway II, Subway Duraisamy, Madley subway, Subway Vyasarpadi, Ganeshapuram subway and Subway Villivakkam.
Police have also divert traffic to Silai EVR.
The vehicle coming from the center to Nair Point was diverted at the crossing of Evr Silai and Gandhi Irwin Point towards Eggore (CMDA).
At the Pantheon roundabout, the vehicle is not allowed to go to the RR stadium (Jalan Marshalls).
They were diverted towards the Pantheon Road.
The vehicle was allowed on Jalan Marshall to the Pantheon Roundabout.
At King Mannar Silai in KK Nagar, the vehicle is not allowed to King Mannar Salai.
Because several other roads in the city have waterlogging and facing slow traffic movements, traffic police have advised people not to come out.
