Chennai: A few weeks after the nurse at home was employed by a family of an old woman, 20 sovereign gold worth Rs 8lakh and Rs 1 Lakh lost from almyirah at home in Thirumullaivoyal.
The police suspected the involvement of nurses and questioned him.
Police said the almyirah was not broken open but the jewelry was taken using the key.
The 70-year-old Vasanthi family member from Venkatatchalam Nagar, Thirumullaivoyall hired a driver and nurse to care for him because his three children settled in Singapore.
