Chennai: Suresh Raina’s ‘I Am Brahmin’ Quip Draw Flak

Chennai: The former Indian Suresh Raina triggered a line after equating the identity of the top of the caste with Chennai’s culture during the comments of Tamil Nadu Premier League on Monday.
During the TNPL appetizer between Lyca Kovai Kings and Salem Spartans, Raina – who wore Jersey Chennai Super Kings in IPL since 2008 – requested by commentators about its long relationship with the city.
The 34-year-old child replied, “I think I am also Brahmana.
I have played since 2004 in Chennai, I like culture.
I like my teammate.
I have played with Anirudha Srikanth, Badri (s Badrinath), Bala Bhai (L Balaji).
We have a good government in CSK and we have a license to explore yourself.
I like culture there, and I’m lucky to be part of CSK.
“Users on the social media platform take a little time to call Raina.
“Your @imraina must be shy in myself.
It seems that you have never experienced a real Chennai culture even though you have played for years for the Chennai team,” Write One.
CSK officials, though, tried to extinguish the fire and rejected comments.
“We have nothing to say at this time,” said a senior official.
Before 2020 IPL too, Raina conveyed controversy when he returned from Dubai quoting “personal reasons”.
CSK management was not happy but made it on the side of 2021.
