Nashik: Minister Guardian Chhagan Bhujbal, who led the weekly Covid meeting in the Collectorate District on Friday, warned people against the Covid safety protocol because the number of active cases in Nashik in the last week touched 1,000 marks.
The number of active cases in the Nashik district this week is 1,035 where the city has 279 cases.
Last week, the number of new cases in the district was established in 951, including 286 infections in the city.
“It is good that new cases in urban areas are reduced.
In rural areas only a few pockets that witness the increase in cases.
Spike in new cases can be caused by Ganeshotsav, but we need to deal with this strictly,” Bhujbal said.
The level of participants also increased from 2.4% to 3%, but the mortality rate was better than the average state.
It should be noted 11 deaths because Covid-19 was reported last week while two weeks ago seven.
“Installation of swing swing pressure (PSA) oxygen plants in harsul and zodge are slightly delayed, while work for plants in all regional rural areas is completed on time,” he said.
Regarding the availability of ambulances with the Primary Health Center (PHCS) in rural areas, he said at least 35 more ambulances will be available for PHC because the state government has given them funds for them.
Speaking of vaccination, Bhujbal said the district had collected a good rate in inoculation so far 35% of the qualified population has been given the first dose and 12.5 percent has been fully vaccinated.
“We have the capacity of giving 1 dose of lakh per day.
With the availability of vaccines, we can increase speed,” added Bhujbal.
