Patna: Commissioner of the Division of Patna Sanjay Kumar Agarwal on Saturday asked the relevant official to make all the settings needed at Chhath Ghats with the next two days.
District administration has involved additional workers for cleanliness working in Ghats.
At a meeting review with DMS, SPS and civilian body officials, Agarwal discussed security settings, unbroken power supply and the spread of the medical team in Chhath Ghats.
He asked the Electricity Executive Engineer to ensure that there was no power outage during the celebration.
The Commissioner directed all civil surgeons to form a medical team and spread it in Ghats.
“The right setting of soul-saving drugs and ambulances is needed.
Doctors, paramedic staff and Anmm must be deployed to Ghats.
The nearest hospital must remain open with adequate doctors and other medical staff,” Agarwal said.
He said the right settings must also be made for covid tests and vaccination on Ghats.
“Vaccination and test pages must be made in all Ghats with the spread of doctors and health staff,” he said.
Agarwal asked DM to stop private boat operations on the river during the Chhath Festival.
At the same time, NDRF and SDRF were asked to work proactively for the safety of worshipers.
Overall eight NDRF teams with 62 motorboats and four Tim SDRF with eight motorboats had been on Patna.
Ninety-six volunteers, 185 divers, four water ambulances, 285 ships and 285 sailors have also become representatives.
Agarwal asks DM to identify harmful and insecure Ghat and make the right barricade.
The four-day Chhath Festival will begin with “Nahay-Khay” on November 8.
