Raipur: Four Maoists, including a female cadre, was killed in another fierce meeting between Maois and Chhattisgarh and Greyhound Bijapur District Security personnel in Telangana on Tuesday.
Maois who died was one of the senior cadres of the clothes that were banned and the body of three recovered, police said.
One Jawan of Greyhounds constantly suffered an injury and flown to the hospital in Warangal.
The meeting took place at the border of the Bijapur District in Rolens, Ilmidi and the USOOR hilly company where 40-50 Maois was present including the Senior Committee Committee of Telangana Sudhakar – member of the Venkatapuram Division Committee.
Bastar Range Inspector General Police P Sundarraj said that Maois was all armed with weapons during their meeting.
Greyhound Telangana security personnel, the central reserve police forces and district reserve guards from Bijapur left the camp on Monday night to overcome them.
“Around 7 o’clock on Tuesday when the troops reached the forest bordering Semladodi in Semladodi Village and the Furry Region of Telangana, a meeting broke out between Maois and security personnel.
In a few minutes, Maois retreated to the forest because they had lost their four colleagues for bullets , “said IG.
During the search, the agency of one female cadre and four other Maoists recovered.
IG said that the search was intensive and the detailed description and identification of those killed was taken.
Security forces have also recovered two rifled from the meeting place.
