New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday sent a notification to two former Chhattisgarh High-ranking Nagrik Nigam Nagrik on the request of the enforcement directorate, called the HC command that gave them guarantees as “polluted”, members sitting, members and a top law officer allegedly weakened the case against Bureaucrat.
General Lawyer Tushar Mehta read the WhatsApp chat between bureaucrats and the influential people to be displayed on the bench headed by the CJI NV Ramana which was intended by the influence of the person accused, in collusion with legal officers, allegedly in charge of “obtaining” anticipatory guarantee order in a case involving Alleged embezzlement of crores rupees in the purchases and transportation of foodadrain intended for the section of the poor and marginalized.
The bench issued notification to those accused, former Nigam Nigam Nagam Implementing Director Anil Kumar Teetja and former Chairperson of Alok Shukla, and also searched for their response to temporary assistance prayers – just anticipatory guarantee.
Approve with SG for fast hearing, the bench posted a case to hear on November 23.
Looking for anticipatory guarantee cancellation to bureaucrats, Ed said that after HC provided anticipatory assurance to them in August last year, most of the witnesses were withdrawn their statements, the strong indicators of the defendant misused their influence in this case.
Ed has searched for Teenja and Shukla’s custodian interrogation.
People who are accused of remaining in anticipatory guarantees will frustrate the cause of justice and cause subversion of the criminal justice system, said Ed.
