RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh police have registered an FIR against yoga guru Baba Ramdev to a complaint lodged by Indian Medical Association (IMA) for supposedly spreading’false data’ regarding allopathy medicines employed for treating Covid-19.
“An FIR was registered at Raipur from Ramkrishna Yadav alias Ramdev Baba to get disobedience of order supplied by a public servant under Section 188, 269, 504 of both IPC and Disaster Management Act for deliberate insult to provoke breach of peace,” explained Raipur SSP Ajay Yadav.
The complaint has been lodged by IMA associates Dr Rakesh Gupta, Dr Vikas Agrawal, Dr Asha Jain as well as other people in Civil Lines police station against Baba Ramdev, telling him of distributing false information from antipsychotic medicines and submitting”threatening opinions on social websites on the issue”.
