Vadodara: A married woman accused a man attacking and having unnatural sex with him on June 22 at the Chota of the udepur.
Police arrested Raju Rathwa and seven others after the woman filed a complaint on June 23.
The other three have not been arrested.
According to the police, the son of the complainant and Putri Rathwa was having a relationship and had married a few days ago.
“The duo even married and sent their wedding certificates to their families.
On June 22, Rathwa knew that his daughter and the boy came to a complainant house in the Udepur Chhota to visit,” the police said.
“Rathwa reached a complainant house along with 10 members of his family and immediately the heated argument turned into a commotion.
The complainant said that he was injured after being attacked by Rathwa and others.
Our team also reached the place and brought a complainant to the hospital,” said JK Patel, Police Inspector , the Chhota Udepur police station.
Complaints of attacks and riots are registered against Rathwa and 10 others on June 23.
“The complainant did not say anything about sexual violence on the first day registered.
He approached the police again on Saturday and alleged that Rathwa had had unnatural sex with him.
We sent him for medical tests and add IPC part 377 to FIR,” said Patel Toi.
Rathhwa and complainants are involved in agriculture.
“We also looked for the girl and a boy who had been married to getting married.
They are both adults so their marriage is legal,” Patel said.
