Chicken fight leads to Clash, 22 booked

Ludhiana: Division number eight police have registered an effort to kill the case after two groups clashed over the fighting chicken.
Consisting of one of the groups identified as Singh Gurkirat from Village Ballo, Romit of Sangam Palace, Lalit Kumar from Nali Mohalla, Gurpreet Singh from Vishwakarma Colony of Dholewal, Manish Kumar, Shaili and 6 of their unknown Associates.
PARMIJAT Singh, Mani, Peeta from Village Ballo, Popi Haibowal, Safe Kumar, Raman Kumar Both of the Dashmesh Nagar, Arjun Kumar from Sher-e-Punjab Colony of Barewal, Shan Singh from Gopal Nagar, Jagjit Singh from Ayyali Khurd Village, and Sanjay Situ was ordered from the other side.
At 11 o’clock at night, Monday, the police had received information about two dozen youth, armed with sharp weapons, had clashed near the DMC hospital.
They added that they had clashed because of hostility over the competition of the chicken held at Jalandhar in the first week of December 2021.Cops said during a clash, one person had received a serious injury and was referred to the Chandigarh PGI from a local hospital.
They added that around the other two were also injured in clashes.
