New Delhi: The leader of Congress P Chidambaram on Sunday crashed into the ICHR for removing Jawaharlal Nehru’s photo from the first digital postter to celebrate the 75th year of Indian independence, and said the explanation given was Ludicrous.
He accused the Secretary of the Indian Council members for historical research (ICHR) bent to hate and harm him and asked him whether he would eliminate Henry Ford while celebrating the birth of motorbike or Wright Brothers while celebrating the birth of the flight.
Ford is the first to create motorbike cars and Wright Brothers credited to build and fly the first aircraft in the world.
“The explanation of the Secretary of the ICHR member for Jawaharlal Nehru’s negligence of the first digital posters to celebrate 75 years of independence was ridiculous,” he said on Twitter.

The exception of Nehru’s image from the celebration poster ‘Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ by ICHR has triggered controversy with opposition parties slamming the government for it and narranted it as “ticik and terrible”.
