Mumbai: Chikungunya’s kasing and dengue continues to be reported from the city hospital, according to the latest Civic data released on Monday.
The case of Chikungunya fever confirmed in the city rose to 33 in October, from seven in September.
Overall, in 2021, Mumbai has recorded 48 cases of confirmed viral diseases, even though the doctor said the real burden could be more.
In the previous two years, the city had not seen the confirmed Chikungunya case.
Civil officials said that the private sector was told to report all cases.
Dengue fever continues to Ail Mumbai.
Data showed that there were 247 dengue hospitalization confirmed in October.
In September, 257 hospitalized was recorded.
After the record falled last year to 129 cases and three deaths, this year the cumulative number of cases confirmed until October had reached 730.
So far there have been three deaths.
In October, hepatitis cases have also seen a surge surge.
Compared to 28 cases in September, 41 cases were reported last month.
The case of leptospirosis has dropped on the other side of 46 in September to 32 in October.
A total of 211 cases have been reported in the city since January.
There are four deaths of leptospirosis too, making it the biggest killer among the rainy season this year.
