Child harassment: CBI does Raids in six TN districts

Chennai: Search is done by the Central Investigation Bureau in six locations in Tamil Nadu as part of a national raid on child abuse online.
The CBI has received information that six people from Tamil Nadu are part of the WhatsApp group named ‘only children’s sex videos’.
Based on this, the search was conducted in six districts – Salem (Kuttumaram Kuttai), Tiruvallur (Tiruvallur), Dindigul (DokkuveanPatti), Namakkal (Attanur Samathuvapuram), Tiruvannamalai (Thorapadi) and Coimbatore (Bettathapuram).
The defendant has been circulating, downloaded, and stored, videos, photos, texts, and posts in this group, according to FIR submitted by the CBI on November 14.
The official release of the agency on Tuesday confirmed that their residence was raided, and the mobile phone was confiscated.
The case has been registered under Section 67-B of the IT laws that are read with IPC 120-B (criminal conspiracy).
