Patna: A child was destroyed to death while two other people with him were seriously injured after a truck that quickly ran above them at NH-531 near the village of Parauli under the Panchrukhi police station in Siwan District on Thursday.
The Panchrukhi Sho Dadan Singh police station said the killed child was identified as Abhay Kumar, around nine years old.
“Two other people who were injured were critical were Rohit Kumar, around 10 years old and one Kumar Nitish, around 17 years old,” he said.
He said that his three were indigenous people.
Singh said that Rohit and Nitish rushed to a private hospital and were in the current treatment.
“Abhay was killed soon at that place.
Nitish has suffered several fractures in the arms and feet while Rohit suffered a fracture with only the legs,” he said.
Sho Singh said that the accident took place around 4 in the morning when the three were sitting next to the national highway and freeing themselves.
“Maybe the truck tried following another vehicle on the highway that came on the shoulders of the road where the trio sat and ran over them,” he said.
Singh said that the speeding truck managed to escape from that place.
He said the police tried to collect CCTV camera recordings available on the route.
He said NH where the accident occurred connecting suggestions to Siwan, Gopalganj and then Uttar Pradesh.
“The child’s body has been submitted to the family after post-Mortem at a conscious hospital.
Abhay’s father, Ramesh Singh has submitted a written request for a truck driver who is unknown for the basis of FIR has been registered,” Sho Singh.
He said that the Civil Administration Authority had also reached a conscious hospital that had taken the ex-Gratia disbursement process to Abhay’s father.
