Three recent incidents also put focus on anger in the apartment and on the road.
In one such incident, a three-year-old boy lost his life while in two other cases, children suffered severe injuries.
On August 19, a 20-year-old car driver allegedly knocked down Sanvar Jain who was three years old when he played in the campus parking area of his apartment.
The police have arrested Zeel Vaghasiya, a BBB student in this relationship.
The accident occurred when Vaghasiya took a shortcut through the campus apartment because there was congestion on the main road.
He entered the apartment from one gate and left another.
In the process he knocked on the child who played near the clubhouse, police said.
In another incident, Gayatri Rathod (6) suffered a serious injury when he was hit by a fast SUV when he walked on the road near his house in Ved Road at 1.
The girl lived near Jagiri Vadi and would buy something nearby shop when the car dropped it.
The third case was related to a little girl who suffered an injury when she was broken down by car at Gokuldham Residency of Kanakpur in the Sachin area on September 3.
The girl suffered a minor injury.
Senior traffic police officers claim that as small children still don’t go to school they spend time playing in the community or nearby roads.
“The majority of children play on internal streets and campus apartments and this leads to accidents sometimes.
In such conditions, the driver of the vehicle needs to be careful,” said B N Dave, assistant commissioner police, traffic.
