Chandigarh: Six children died over the past two weeks in the village of Chili in Palwal District Haryana because of fever and other diseases, officials ruled out Dengue and Covid-19 as the cause of their deaths.
A official said besides them, a child died at home “because of milk aspirations and have nothing to do with pain”.

Brahm deep, who visited the village on Wednesday said six children who died were under 10.

Authorities in Nuhar Nalhar Medical College said one of six children had congestive heart failure with severe anemia.

Some local residents reported complaining about poor sanitation in the village.
“We have conducted a survey of all 300 houses in the village.
We conducted 400 tests for malaria, 12 Elisa tests to dengue and 400 tests for Covid.

On Sundays, when the survey began, we had 64 cases of fever that day.
Today, there are only 12 cases of fever in the total population, “he said, adding that the situation was” controlled “.
No deaths occurred in the last two days, the doctor said.
He said there were no deaths that occurred due to lack of care.
All facilities are available, he said.
“The situation has been handled very firmly.
On Saturday, we found out about the situation, on the same day I put my team there,” he said.
The Ministry of Health has established a temporary hospital in the village with oxygen and drug facilities, he said, adding that the ambulance has also been placed.
“In every home, we have distributed mosquito nets and we have also disturbed face masks,” he said.
Cmo Palwal further said previously there was a resistance related to Covid vaccination in the village.
“We hope to cover this village with 100 percent vaccination this week,” he said.
