Muzaffarnagar: Children’s marriage was stopped in the district of Muzaffarnagar Uttar Pradesh by the Helpline Team of the Kids Department of Welfare, an official said on Sunday.
The team reached Balhedi Village on Saturday after receiving information about the function, said Pamam Sharma Helpline.
During the investigation, the boy was and the girl was found underage.
This case was handed over to the police, he said.
The team reaches the village when the wedding function will end, Sharma said.
