NEW DELHI: Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur on Monday said China is performing”surveillance actions” in its boundary region.
“They (China) have started some surveillance actions via street at a height greater than ours”, Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur was quoted as saying from ANI.
The CM also said China is strengthening its own infrastructure at the border region.
“It is a fact that China is attempting to strengthen its own infrastructure within our boundary region which contrasts with Tibet, we’ll notify the Centre concerning it,” said Thakur.
The CM had seen the Indo-China boundary regions at Samdo at Lahaul-Spiti area of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.
Thakur said that he travelled into the border regions after”inputs” following the breach of the nation airspace this past year by Chinese aquariums as well as a few building activities, such as those of streets close to the boundary.
The ministry made the comments while addressing colleagues amid allegations from HP Congress president Kuldeep Rathore there were”sense of insecurity” among villagers amid the building actions by the Chinese.
Before at a news conference, Rathore had needed in the principal minister to make people that the discovering of his trip to the Indo-China boundary.
He’d told reporters he had written last year just about these building actions by the Chinese close to the boundary into the Centre apart from the state council as well as the ministry, but the authorities had stayed silent on those problems.
