China managed to launch a new Earth observation satellite

Beijing: China has successfully launched a new satellite into space to increase the capacity of state hyperpectral observation from the atmosphere, water and land, official media reported on Wednesday.
Bumi Observation Satellite, Gaofen-5 02, was launched on a long March-4C rocket on Tuesday from the Taiyuan satellite launch center in Shanxi China North, the Xinhua news agency reported that he entered the planned orbit successfully.
This is a hyperpectral satellite that will be used for comprehensive environmental monitoring, aims to increase the capacity of state hyperpectral observation from the atmosphere, water and soil.
Satellite and carrier rockets were developed by the Shanghai Academy of SpaceFlight Technology under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
It was the 387th flight mission of the long series of Rocket Carrier March, the report said.
