Washington: China, Pakistan, Russia and Iran are trying to find out what they are doing now with the Taliban, US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday.
After the Taliban announced details of the temporary government, Biden told reporters that China had a “real problem” with the Taliban.
“China has a real problem with the Taliban.
They try to finish it with the Taliban, I am sure.
Like Pakistan, like Russia, like Iran,” Biden told reporters in the White House.
“They all try to find out what they are doing now.
So let’s wait and see what’s happening.
It would be interesting to see what happened,” he said in response to questions about the announcement of new temporary government formation in Indonesia Kabul by the Taliban.
Meanwhile, the former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley began an online petition urging the US government not to recognize the Afghan Taliban government.
“I don’t believe this even needs to be said, but under this administration, it is: America may not recognize the Taliban as a legitimate government in Afghanistan,” Haley said.
In another tweet, he said that under the control of Taliban, the Minister of Home Afghanistan was a terrorist in the list of the most sought-after FBI.
Taliban on Tuesday launched a temporary government led by Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, with a key role distributed by group members from rebel groups, including Sirajuddin Haqqani – Global Terrorists appointed specifically from the Haqqani network that was feared – as Minister of Internal Affairs .
