Beijing: China on Wednesday reported 28 new Coronavirus cases confirmed on the mainland for August 17, compared to 42 days earlier, according to the National Health Commission.
New infections, six transmitted locally, did not change from the previous day.
China reported 17 cases of new asymptomatic coronavirus, which was not classified as a confirmed infection, also did not change from the previous day.
No new death reported.
On August 17, Mainland China has recorded 94,500 confirmed cases, with the number of cumulative deaths unchanged at 4,636.
