Beijing: China has provided a complete dose of Covid-19 vaccine to around 75.6% of its population on October 23, spokesman for the National Health Commission Mi Feng said on Sunday.
About 1,068 billion people have now been inoculated at the required dosage, from a population of 1.412 billion, MI says news direction.
This country has provided a total of 2.245 billion doses of Covid-19 vaccine as of October 23, official data shows.
China gave people the last dose was given at least six months ago a booster shot, with priority groups including important workers, parents and those who have a weaker immune system.
China mostly has a virus in most areas, and small local sporadic outbreaks compared to those seen in other countries.
However, MI warns on Sunday there is an increased risk that China’s latest outbreaks, involves more than 100 infections in a week in 11 provincial areas, will spread further.
