China Woo Young Tibets to join PLA

New Delhi: China will further encourage efforts to recruit young Tibet in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and local militias and to act as a guide along the border, even when it continues to consolidate its military position and increase its airbirds facing India.
India’s security establishment official on Wednesday said the latest intelligence report also showed China even made it “mandatory” for every Tibetan family to send at least one member of a young man for recruitment in PLA in several regions such as Ngari Prefecture from the Tibet Autonomous Region (TER).
Tibetan recruitment and increased PLA activity in all sectors that stretched from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh along the actual control line 3,488 km above the 12th round of the Corps commander talks between India and China.
Military talks, after a long gap since the 11th round on April 9, will be held towards the end of July or early August in other efforts to increase tensions in the 14-month military confrontation in East Ladakh.
“The release of tracing troops in the gorry and hot water sources can be taken.
But every resolution of the indian patrol blocking by PLA in the area is not on the card now,” said an official.
Pace Frenetic where PLA has converted the temporary structure, ammunition dump, helipad and surface-to-air missile battery throughout Ladakh to a permanent position and increases its main air base such as Hotan, Kashgar, Gargunsa (Ngari Gunsa), Lhasa -GoGGar and Shigatse for Warriors and additional bombers, clearly shows China has no plans to reduce the near future.
There is also a new focus on Tibetan Induction in the militia and in the Special Tibetan Army Unit (STAU) under PLA, with a shared drive carried out in tar with coercion, officials said.
PLA has also recruited more than 70 Tibetan students, aged between 17 and 20 years, from various universities to enter the Military Academy in Tar this year.
“It also attracts Tibetans from border villages, who have good topographic knowledge of LAC, to work as a guide to accompany parties patrolling,” an official said.
As reported by TOI, PLA has simultaneously lifted a series of new militias in the Chumbi Valley, opposite Sikkim, under Yatung Regency in Tar.
One of these militias is known as ‘Mimang Cheton’ (MC), which means ‘for the community’, and consists of local Tibet youth trained by PLA.
At least two batch MCs, with around 100 youths in one batch, have been deployed in various locations in Chumbi Valley in areas such as Yutung, Cheema, Rinchengang, PB Thang and Phari after completing their training.
