GUANGDONG: Authorities at Guangzhou, the capital of south China’s Guangdong Province, declared Monday the neighborhood senior high school entry exam scheduled for June 20-22 will be increased for July over Covid-19.
The choice was designed to guard the health of instructors and pupils per outbreak control and prevention measures as the examination from the present situation could raise cross-infection dangers, the civic education department stated.

Over 90,000 qualified high school students are advised to participate in the examination, Gu said.
Police in Guangzhou on Monday also raised lockdown in 11 areas in five districts following the outbreak situation eased.
