Beijing: a city in southern China who tries to contain the Coronavirus outbreak to the public on Sundays not to go, suspend the service and train and cinemas closed, bars and other facilities.
Anyone who needs to leave Putian, a 2.9 million city in South Fujian Province Shanghai, for important travel must have evidence of negative Koronavirus tests in the last 48 hours, the city government announced.
China expressed a controlled virus in the early 2020 but had experienced an outbreak from a more contagious Delta variant.
Authorities say most are tracked to travelers who come from Russia, Myanmar and other countries.
In Putian, 19 new infections believed to have been obtained locally reported in 24 hours to midnight on Saturday, according to the National Health Commission.
One was reported in Quanzhou, also in Fujian.
The first cases in Putian are students from Xianyou Regency, but experts suspect the outbreak may come from the father of one student who returned from Singapore on August 4, according to the official Global Times newspaper.
Travelers, identified by the family name Lin, underwent quarantine 14 days and nine nucleic and serological acid tests, all of which were negative, global said, quoting local authorities.
He said he was tested positive on Friday.
Villagers in Xianyou where infection was found forbidden to leave, the newspaper said.
Bus and train services to Putian are suspended on Saturday, said Global Times.
Elsewhere in Putian, cinema, card room, fitness center, tourist location, and other facilities booked closed, the city government announced.
Restaurants and supermarkets are told to “strict control” customer numbers and to check fever.
The school was ordered to ask students to wear a mask in the classroom.
Experts were sent to Putian to oversee the work of disease control, the Health Commission announced on Saturday.
China has reported 4,636 Coronavirus deaths from 95,199 confirmed cases.
