Beijing: Chinese special envoys, Russia and Pakistan have met with the main officials of the Taliban while Afghanistan Hamid Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah in Kabul and discussed the formation of inclusive government, fighting terrorism and humanitarian situation, China Top said officials on Wednesday.
Three special envoys visited Kabul from September 21-12 and held talks with Acting Prime Minister Mohammad Hasan Akhund, Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mutaqi, Minister of Finance and Temporary Government Temporary Official, Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told Media Briefing here .
Significantly, they also met with former President Hamid Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah, the president of the council for national reconciliation under the previous government.
This may be the first time foreign diplomat met Karzai and Abdullah who lived in Kabul after the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan last month ahead of the withdrawal of US troops and NATO.
Their meeting also coincided with the Taliban letter to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres who nominated spokesman Suhail Shaheen as Afghan’s new ambassador to the United Nations.
Afghan militant groups also asked Guterres to allow him to participate and spoke in the 76th session of the ongoing General Assembly in New York.
In addition to coordinating with Russia in Afghanistan, Pakistan and China, who played a major role after the Taliban confiscated Kabul, tried to build a new grouping of the Border sharing countries with Afghanistan.
New groupings include China, Pakistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, they are all neighbors Afghanistan.
Group’s foreign ministers held a virtual meeting on September 7.
Highlighting its significance, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan told the BBC on Tuesday that a new group would jointly decide to extend recognition to the Taliban government.
Describing in China, Russia, Pakistani’s special envoy spoke with Taliban officials in Kabul, Zhao said they discussed the situation especially regarding inclusive, human rights, economics and humanity between Afghanistan.
They also discussed relations with other countries and the reunification and integrity of the territorial state, he said.
“They have deep and constructive discussions and also state support for fighting terrorism and drug crimes,” he said.
Their offer to expand support came amid rising attacks reported by ISIS-K in Taliban officials in the last few days.

In their conversation with Karzai and Abdullah, they discussed the problems related to peace and stability in Afghanistan, he said.
“China says we will not interfere in Internal Afghanistan affairs and have played a constructive role for the political settlement of Afghanistan problems.
The Afghan side must make open, inclusive political arrangements and exercise wise policies,” Zhao added.
