Patna: JULI MP Chirag Paswan on Tuesday filed a memorandum to Governor Phagu Chauhan looking for intervention in improving the situation of law and order in the state, especially ahead of the upcoming Panchayat poll.
Chirag accused that members of the Dalit community are often targeted and then killed in various parts of the country.
The recent murder of the former Mayor of Katathar Shivraj Paswan is an example.
He said before Anil Oraon, head of State State State and his party candidate from the Constituency of the Manihari Assembly, was killed.
Former former Mayor of Katathar, Bhushan Paswan, was shot dead.
“The way criminals target people’s representatives show that there are no laws and order in the state.
Incidents of kidnapping, murder, extortion and booty have increased in a worrying way,” reading memorandum.
Chirag shows that since the Pancrayat elections are due in the state, the incident can occur at intervals that often occur.
“Here is an urgent need to examine criminal incidents to instill a sense of security among people,” he added.
Chirag was previously written to the DGP of Singhal’s SK to add to the security settings behind the members of the Dalit community in the state.
He is currently visiting various District as part of his’ ashirvad yatra’nya.
