Chitkara University announced new international collaboration with the University of Windsor to support transnational education and student mobility.
The agreement was virtually signed by President & Deputy Chancellor Dr.
Robert Gordon -University of Windsor and Pro-Chancellor University of Chitkara Dr.
Madhu Chitkara today.
The event was attended by senior leadership of the two universities, including representation of the Canadian consulate.
While Mia Yen, Canadian Consul General represents the Canadian Consulate in Chandigarh, Mr.
Digvijay Mehra, Director of Executing and Senior Economic Officials represented the Province of Ontario in Canada.
Under the agreement of new academic guidance, the teaching of the Chitkara faculty in this program will be guided by the Faculty of Odette, providing feedback, support, sharing their knowledge, skills, and experiences while fostering connections with students in India who will resolve the first two years in Chitkara.
The partnership with a prestigious Odette Business School is accredited and AACSB at the University of Windsor, Ontario in Canada is the only initiative in the International Education Room, where students will get 100% previous credit credit before transferring to universities from Windsor in Canada.
As part of the arrangement, students while studying the first two years of the program in Chitkara will pay domestic school fees.
Students will also be taught together as part of the Academic Unit by the Canadian faculty in sophisticated ICT infrastructure, well equipped, and resources similar to UWindsor.
This is only translated into better academic success for students with a global career and education that saves 70% of the cost.
This innovative program structure allows students to specialize in the field of high market demand, including in accounting, human resources, finance, supply chains and analysis of business, marketing, and strategies and entrepreneurship, while saving international tuition fees for students studying in India .
