Alwar: Traffic congestion in the heart of the tiger witnessed on Saturday when nearly 1,000 pilgrims reached Pandupol located within the Sariska Tiger Reserve (STR).

Long queues of cars and two-wheeled cars seem to be a sight inside the forest area.
A forest official said, “As a first step, the entry of private vehicles in the park is restricted except for Tuesday and Saturday.
By chance, the first day of the new year is Saturday and tourists who camp in large quantities.” Wildlifer believes the Forestry Department must immediately appear with a solution for this because the vehicle passes through the five tigers disturbing habitat.
At present, large cat movements include ST-7, ST-8, ST-12, ST-13 and ST-14 recorded in the region.
DINESH VERMA DURANI, Founder and Secretary General of Sariska Tiger Foundation said, “We ask the Ministry of Forestry to resolve the long-delayed problem.
The tiger population in Sariska increases and interference in their habitat will cause a bad impact.” Sariska National Park has upswing since the sightings of the tiger improved.
With a total of 23 tigers, not only tourist flow increases, but many tour operators have taken Sariska from the map after losing all tigers now promoting it.
