Kottayam: Syro-Malabar’s diocese of the Church of Negra, Kerala, has come up with a welfare project for families under the diocese that has four or more children.
Circular issued by Bishop M Mar Joseph Kallaragatt on Tuesday said “offer” was made as part of the declaration of the “Family Year” by Pope Francis.
The church is oriental Catholic.
Circular will be read out during Mass Sunday in the Churches in the Diocese in August 1.
The diocese will provide a job priority in the hospital held by the diocesan, according to educational qualifications, to one partner who has five or more children.
The welfare scheme also imagines the priority of work at the education institution of dioceses for children who are born as the fourth, or later, in the family who struggle financially.
The diocese, he said, will expand monthly financial assistance of 1,500 Rs for all married couples after 2000 who have five or more children.
Free medical treatment is also offered for related costs born from the fourth child and so on in both hospitals owned by the diocese.
Free education has been offered from the fourth child and so on for those who get entrance tickets according to government regulations at the Nursing Universities owned by the dioceses.
Studying at Engineering and Management of the Diocesan College Hotels will be free of fourth child and so on he entered these institutions.

He said that by giving birth to five children, a woman would dedicate at least 10 years of life.
