Nagpur: The death of a liquor addict, who fainted at the police station where he went to submit a complaint against family members on Monday, being treated as the death of the custodian and investigation have been submitted to the Cid state.
Ravi Pardhi, 38, has visited Kapil Police Kapil Nagar to file a complaint against his family members who allegedly struggled.
He reportedly collapsed while waiting at the police station.
The police have rushed to Mayo Hospital where the doctor said he died.
The police said Pardhi allegedly knew his mother at their residence near Joshi Park.
He was then destroyed by other people in the family.
When Pardhi reached the police station, his family member followed him to file a complaint back.
While the police at the police station had asked Pardhi to sit outside, he fainted to the ground.
The police said the CCTV record of the police station showed Pardhi in several kinds of restless before collapsing and he was very sweaty.
“We treat this case as custodian deaths that are considered and have asked Cid the country to take the probe,” said a senior official.
