Vadodara / Anand: Anand Rural Management Institute (Irma) on Monday signed the MoU with the Indian Industrial Confederation (CII) to strengthen the involvement of the private sector, improve the program and then the development of cooperatives and collective communities for the economic growth of the country.
It was signed by Director Irma Dr.
Umakann Dash and Executive Director CII Babu Khan.
“This collaboration brings together the power of CII’s network and outreach together with the knowledge and resources Irma to encourage results of impact on the development of the overall cooperatives and centric models of society in the country,” said Tarun Sawhney, chairman of the CII National Council in rural and economic district.
“We (Irma) intend to work as a nodal academic institution to continue the cooperative movement in India.
When we celebrate a hundred births of the founder and grandmother of the white revolution progenitor in the country Dr.
Verghese Kurien, we hope to collaborate with CII in advancing this agenda,” Dash said .
Under the partnership, Irma and CII will jointly identify and prioritize the main problem and therefore work with all stakeholders including policy makers, industries, cooperatives and communities in the state and national level.
