Kolkata: Cinema Paradise, which is closed during a pandemic, will not be reopened with an old avatar.
If the model set by Cinema Prachi, which is reopened on Thursday in a new job, Paradise is likely to adopt the same thing.
Prachi is the only single screen theater in Kolkata who maintains its original format when using the ground floor to set up the retail chain franchise.
Meanwhile, Cinema Rathindra in the sodepur has decided to close permanently this week, even though there is a crore investment.
Everything includes sound systems, screens, chairs and sofas have been removed from the auditorium.
The priority is now restoring investment as a commercial space.
Most single screen cinemas that are closed in Kolkata have made their way for malls or apartments.
The Metro has been changed with a retail chain on the ground floor and multiplex on it.
“We initially had 784 seats.
It was reduced to 500 in 2016.
